2020 National Workshop
The Center for Ministry Development invites you to join us for this workshop series which includes practical ideas and starting points as we explore the ministry implications for youth ministry, catechesis, sacramental preparation, and parish life.
"[Young people] will be better integrated into communities that are open, living their faith, eager to radiate Christ, joyful, free, fraternal and committed.” - Pope Francis, Christus Vivit, April 2019. #220.
Young people experience Christ radiated from communities who intentionally welcome, form, and guide them as missionary disciples. This workshop assists parishes in implementing “Christus Vivit – Christ is Alive” by exploring the process for the adolescent faith journey, presenting best practices for teaching discipleship with youth, and sharing a vision for becoming a community of witnesses using direction provided by the Joy of Adolescent Catechesis document published by the NFCYM, NCEA, and NCCL, in collaboration with the USCCB.
